1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Pacific Cabs website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services. Pacific Cabs is a division of W.R.S.S. Taxi Ltd., operating in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada.

2. Services

Pacific Cabs provides taxi and transportation services, including but not limited to local taxi service, airport transfers, courier delivery, wheelchair-accessible transportation, and jump start assistance, within our service areas of Surrey, White Rock, Cloverdale, Langley, Aldergrove, and Fort Langley, British Columbia.

We reserve the right to refuse service to any person for any lawful reason, including but not limited to safety concerns, abusive behaviour toward drivers or staff, or non-payment.

3. Booking and Dispatch

Ride bookings can be made by phone, through our website, or via our mobile booking app. While we make every effort to fulfill all bookings, availability depends on fleet capacity and demand. We do not guarantee specific pickup times, though we strive to be as prompt as possible.

Pre-booked rides should be scheduled at least 30 minutes in advance. Cancellations should be made as early as possible to allow us to serve other customers.

4. Fares and Payment

All fares are calculated according to the meters approved and regulated by the Passenger Transportation Board of British Columbia. Additional charges may apply for:

• Airport pickup fees as set by the airport authority
• Waiting time beyond the initial grace period
• Extra stops during a trip
• Cleaning fees for excessive soiling of the vehicle

We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, and debit card payments. Corporate account holders are billed according to the terms of their corporate account agreement.

5. Corporate Accounts

Corporate accounts are subject to a separate application and approval process. Corporate account holders agree to pay all invoices within 30 days of the invoice date unless otherwise specified in writing. Pacific Cabs reserves the right to suspend or terminate a corporate account for non-payment or breach of terms.

6. Passenger Responsibilities

Passengers are expected to:

• Provide accurate pickup and destination information
• Be ready at the designated pickup location
• Treat drivers and vehicles with respect
• Wear seatbelts as required by British Columbia law
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Not smoke, vape, or consume illegal substances in the vehicle
• Ensure children are properly secured in appropriate car seats as required by law

7. Lost Property

Pacific Cabs is not responsible for items left in our vehicles. However, we will make reasonable efforts to return lost property. Please contact our dispatch at (604) 596-6666 as soon as possible if you believe you have left an item in one of our taxis.

8. Complaints

We take all complaints seriously. Complaints can be submitted through our website complaint form or by contacting our office directly. We will investigate all complaints and respond within a reasonable timeframe. Complaints may also be directed to the Passenger Transportation Board of British Columbia.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pacific Cabs and W.R.S.S. Taxi Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of our services, including but not limited to:

• Delays in pickup or arrival
• Service disruptions due to weather, traffic, or other circumstances beyond our control
• Loss or damage to personal property during transit
• Actions of independent contractor drivers

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the fare paid for the specific trip giving rise to the claim.

10. Website Use

The content on this website is provided for general information purposes only. While we strive to keep the information accurate and up to date, we make no warranties or representations about the completeness, accuracy, or reliability of any information on the site.

You agree not to:

• Use the website for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the website
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the website
• Reproduce, duplicate, or resell any part of the website without permission

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Pacific Cabs / W.R.S.S. Taxi Ltd. or its content suppliers and is protected by Canadian and international copyright laws. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

12. Privacy

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our website and services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
